I have a Masters Degree in the field of 'Sound and Music Computing' from Aalborg University, Denmark. Through a combination of practice and theory in subjects such as data modelling, signal processing, pattern recognition, sound technology and –perception, cognition and interactive systems, I have obtained a solid background in the fast growing field of audio technology. As a consequence I have a broad foundation in the fields of:
EDUCATION
- music perception and cognition
- novel interfaces for musical expression
- sonic interaction design
- digital signal processing in audio applications
- audio analysis and synthesis
- physics-based sound synthesis and audio modelling
- music information retrieval
I also spent 6 months at the famous 'Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics' (CCRMA), Stanford University, as a Visiting Research Scholar in 2014. CCRMA is a multi-disciplinary facility where world-renowned composers and researchers work together using computer-based technology both as an artistic medium and as a research too. Many major breakthroughs have their foundation at this place. For instance this is where John Chowning invented FM synthesis in the 70's.
During my time at Aalborg University I also became teaching assistant in the fields of "sound and music computing", "interaction design" and "human sensation and perception"
